Quality review of the Iceland Academy of the Arts

The Quality Board for Icelandic Higher Education, which operated under the auspices of the Ministry for Education, Science and Culture and administered by Rannís, has carried out an instituion-wide quality review of the Iceland Academy of the Arts. 

The review was carried out by a team of independent senior international higher education experts together with a student representative from the higher education sector in Iceland. The Iceland Academy of the Arts is the 5th higher education institution reviewed by the Quality Board.

The main findings of the Quality Board are that confidence can be placed in the soundness of the Iceland Academy of Arts' present and likely future arrangements to secure the academic standards of its awards; and confidence can be placed in the soundness of the Iceland Academy of the
Arts' present and likely future arrangements to secure the quality of the student learning experience.

The report also lists instances of good practice within the Academy as well as possible areas for further development and improvement.
