Gender Equality Fund

What are the objectives?

The purpose of the Gender Equality Fund, which was established in 2015 with the approval of the Parliamentary Assembly No. 13/144, to celebrate the 100 years anniversary of women's right to vote in Iceland, is to fund or support projects and research aimed at promoting gender equality.
