Senior Adviser
Egill is a Senior Adviser in the international team of the Research and Innovation Division. He is coordinator for both the DPP role of Rannis in EEA Grants and Arctic cooperation.
Responsibilities include:
- EEA Grants,
- Arctic Cooperation
- International Arctic Science Committee (IASC)
- European Polar Board, EU-PolarNet2
- and Arctic Science Funders Forum
- Bi-lateral Arctic cooperation with China
- China-Iceland Arctic Science Observatory (CIAO) and
- China-Nordic Arctic Research Centre (CNARC)),
- Horizon Europe, (Widening participation & spreading excellence)
