The UK-Iceland Explorer Scholarship fund is part of the measures introduced to strengthen the links between the UK and Iceland in education, research, innovation, and space science. The specific objective of the fund is to give Icelandic students the opportunity to study in the UK with a scholarship. Priority is given to space-related subjects, and those students can do a paid internship through the SPIN-programme of the UK Space Agency.
