Researchers' Night
Researchers' Night is an event that brings together the general public and researchers. It is organised every year on the last Friday of September all over Europe.
Science Cafés
Rannis organises occasional Science Cafés on particular topics with the participation of scientists in all fields.
The annual Research Convention is organised in cooperation with the Science and Technology Policy Council and focuses on policy discussion topics.
Motivation Award for Young Scientists
The Icelandic Science and Technology Policy Council's Motivation Award is awarded to a scientist, who early in his/her career is believed to have excelled, and creates expectations about scientific contribution, which has the potential to strengthen the foundations of Icelandic society.
Innovation Congress
The annual Innovation Congress is organised by Rannis, Promote Iceland, The Innovation Centre Iceland and the New Venture Business Fund. The Icelandic Innovation Award is presented at the Innovation Congress.
Icelandic Innovation Award
The award is presented to a company showing excellence in innovation.
The President's Student Innovation Award
The award is presented to outstanding performance of university students that are grantees of the Student Innovation Fund. The award is presented by the President of Iceland.
