Research Convention

The annual Research Convention will be held on Tuesday 5 November 2019, at 14.00-16.30 at the Grand Hotel Reykjavik under the heading International cooperation, focus and opportunities in research. The Motivation Award for Young Scientists will be awarded at the same occasion.

Rannís and the Science and Technology council are hosting a Research Conference on Tuesday, 5 November 2019 at the Grand Hotel Reykjavík, Háteigi.

At the conference, the focus will be on what lies ahead in international cooperation in research and education. New opportunities are open in the new EU cooperation programs, the Horizon Europe research and innovation program and the Erasmus + educational program. There is a changed focus in the Nordic co-operation, in addition to which the Research Fund and the Technology Development Fund are authorized to participate in international cooperative projects of competitive funds.

The Motivation Award for Young Scientists will be awarded at the event.
