Rannis organizes the annual Research
Convention to discuss research and innovation policies.
At the convention, the The Icelandic Research Fund´s Motivation Award is awarded to a
scientist who early on is considered to have excelled and created expectations
of contributions to scientific work that strengthen the foundations of human
life in Iceland. The Motivation Award has been awarded since 1987.
The annual Research Convention will be held Thursday November 24 from 2:00pm - 4:00pm. The title of the convention is "Knowledge for the benefit of society: Research Impact in Iceland". The event will be located at Hilton Reykjavik Nordica, 2nd floor.
