The fund is open for applications from legal entities as well as individuals. International research collaboration is welcomed in the applications. Grants can, however, only be paid to Icelandic bank accounts.
The main objective of the Climate Fund is to support innovation projects in the field of climate issues and projects that aim at providing information and education related to the impact of climate change.
Last deadline for application was June 15th, 2023 at 15:00.
It is unknown if/when there will be a next call for applications for the fund, as it is being merged with the Energy Fund.
