The Icelandic Climate Fund reports to the Minister for the Environment and Natural Resources. The role of the fund is to support innovative projects in the field of climate change and projects related to the promotion and education of the effects of climate change. Rannís is in charge of the fund.
There are two types of grants and the grants are awarded for one year:
Emphasis is placed on projects that aim to reduce emissions or better define the various aspects of emissions that can be traced to human activities.
Applications are only accepted through Rannís on-lineapplication system. No documents will be accepted after the application deadline.
