20.10.2022 : Digital Europe announces an open call to support the development of digital competences at higher education

The project must be developed within a European University Alliance in collaboration with at least two SMEs and research centers. Each project will be supported by 10 million euros, with duration up to four years. The application deadline is January 24, 2023.

22.8.2022 : The first UK-Iceland Explorer scholarships awarded to four candidates

Earlier this year, Rannís launched a call for applications to the newly established UK-Iceland fund, which aims to enhance academic cooperation between Iceland and the UK. The first scholarships have now been awarded to four candidates who will start their studies in the UK this autumn.

14.1.2022 : Allocation from the Icelandic Research Fund for the financial year 2022

The Board of The Icelandic Research Fund has completed the allocation of grants for new research projects for 2022, the largest in the fund's history. A total of 355 valid applications were received by the Research Fund, 82 of which were funded, or just over 23%.
