Before coming to IASC, Dr. Allen Pope held positions as a research scientist at the National Snow and Ice Data Center (University of Colorado Boulder) and the Polar Science Center (University of Washington) where he researched remote sensing of glaciers.

NOS-HS will announce in January—March 2017 a new call for proposals for series of NOS-HS workshops. The call is open for researchers from all fields of humanities and social sciences employed at Nordic higher educational organisations. Researchers from at least three Nordic countries must participate in organizing a series of two or three workshops.

The company, Dohop, was granted the Icelandic Innovation Award 2016 at the Innovation Congress this morning. Davíð Gunnarsson, CEO of Dohop, accepted the awards from Ragnheiður Elín Árnadóttir, the Icelandic Minister of Industry and Commerce.
