NOS-HS will announce in January—March 2017 a new call for proposals for series of NOS-HS workshops. The call is open for researchers from all fields of humanities and social sciences employed at Nordic higher educational organisations. Researchers from at least three Nordic countries must participate in organizing a series of two or three workshops.
The aim of the grant is to promote networking and research collaboration between Nordic researchers, as well as the development of new research areas and programmes within the humanities and social sciences in the Nordic countries. The aim is also to support Nordic researchers' participation in major international research programmes (e.g. Horizon 2020).
Funding can be granted for any costs related to organizing the workshops, but not for research costs. The series of workshops must be held in the Nordic countries during 2018 and 2019. In 2016, 43 % of applications were granted and the average amount granted per series of workshops was SEK 410 000.
