The Icelandic Research Fund – An open call

The Icelandic Research Fund announces an open call. The deadline is 1 October 2009. The role of the Icelandic Research Fund is to support scientific research in Iceland. For this purpose the Fund supports specific research projects of individuals, research teams, universities, research institutes, and companies. The Icelandic Research Fund allocates three types of grants with the application deadline 1 October 2009:

  

Grants of Excellence

Project Grants

Postdoctoral Grants

    

All proposals and supporting documents should be in English to ensure that the proposals may be submitted for evaluation abroad. Exemptions are granted when publications in the field are exclusively in Icelandic. In such cases the proposers should seek instructions from RANNIS. All proposals for Grants of Excellence should be in English and they are all reviewed abroad.
