HERA workshop in Berlin

11.11.2009

More information about these HERA activities can be found on the HERA website: www.heranet.info.

The aim of the workshop is to bring together key players in the field of humanities in order to increase awareness of humanities research across Europe, its achievements and contributions to the European research agenda.

The first day of the workshop is for policy makers and it will be on invitation only. The second day of the event is intended mainly for researchers and will be open to any researchers from Europe.

We anticipate that the second day will start with registration at 9.00am, and will consist of presentation from the European Commission on the Roadmap, followed by presentations from researchers. A buffet lunch will be offered at 1.00pm, and there will be an opportunity for group discussion in the afternoon workshops. The day will end at approximately 4.30pm.

This event will provide a significant opportunity to ask questions about the EC Indicative Strategic Research Roadmap and share best practices. It will also be an opportunity to network and forge new contacts.

If you would like to attend the event on 15 December, please complete registration form and return to m.libutzki@die-eventagenten.de . Please note registration is necessary for the day as limited places are available and place will be allocated on a first come first serve basis.

Please note that attendance at the workshop is free but travel and accommodation costs of participants will not be reimbursed by the organisers.
