EU's Lifelong Learning Programme and Nordplus merge with Rannis

As of 1 January 2013, the National Agencies of the EU's Lifelong Learning Programme and of Nordplus merge with Rannis. This unites the largest European and Nordic action programmes in the field of education, training, research and innovation under one organisation in Iceland, with the aim of strengthening international cooperation and improving transparency and accessibility for clients.

All operations and the staff of the Lifelong Learning Programme and Nordplus national agencies have now been transferred to Rannis.

To begin with, the organisation will be based in two locations in Reykjavik; at the Rannis head office on Laugavegur 13 and at the Technology Court of the University of Iceland, at Dunhagi 5.

The staff of Rannis is looking forward to continuted cooperation with clients and stakeholders.
