NordForsk, in cooperation with several national funding actors, has issued a call for proposals for the establishment of one or more Nordic Centres of Excellence in the field of societal security. The application submission deadline is 15 January 2014.
In September 2013 NordForsk announced that it would be issuing a call for proposals in the interdisciplinary field of societal security research. The funding announcement has now been published, and applications will be accepted for the next two months. A maximum of NOK 25 million may be sought per centre.
Proposed centres must involve cooperation between at least three Nordic countries and planned research activities must provide added value to the work already being conducted in the field in the Nordic countries.
