The main objective of the Icelandic Climate Fund is to support innovation projects in the field of climate issues and projects that aim at providing information and education related to the impact of climate change. Deadline December 6 at 15:00.
Support for innovation projects should be aimed at promoting research and development
related to implementation of new climate-friendly technology solutions and
designs.
There is one type of grant this time and grants are awarded for one year.
The board decides the priorities for each allocation, and this year the most emphasis is placed on projects that:

- Promotional and educational projects.
Applications are only accepted through the Icelandic Center for Research website (my pages). Data will not be accepted after the application deadline. Applicants must familiarize themselves with the fund´s handbook for the year 2023 before applying.
The Climate Fund reports to the Minister of Environment, Energy and Climate, but Rannís is in charge of the fund.
