Webinar on Open Science in Horizon Europe

3.11.2022

Rannis will hold a webinar on Open Science in Horizon Europe Tuesday November 15 from 12-13.

In the EU Framework programme for Research & Innovation Horizon 2020, open science was almost reduced to open access. Although Horizon Europe is a continuation of its predecessor programme, it integrates a more complete approach of the open science concept. Open Science is evaluated in all three parts of a project proposal, taking into account concepts such as Open Access, Open Data but also concepts such as citizen science and citizen engagement. Rannis will invite an expert in Responsible Research and Innovation from FFG in Austria, Michialis Tzatzanis, who has extensive knowledge on the matter. After his presentation there will be a discussion on the status and development of Open Science practices in Iceland in relation to Horizon Europe projects. The webinar is specifically targeted at research managers and potential applicants for Horizon Europe.

The webinar is in English and free, but registration is required
